An open letter to Dr. Chuck Ells and Institute of Laughter

An open letter to Dr. Chuck Ells and Institute of Laughter from Cruel Kev of the Shenanigans and Skulduggery Think Tank. 
                                                                                                                                                                  Dear Dr. Chuck Ells:         
I am writing to request your Institute undertake research on the findings we at S&S Think Tank have recently identified.

After exhaustive scrutinization of classic horror and science fiction motion pictures we have made the following conclusions.

Aside from the obvious suspenseful, macabre and spine-chilling aspects of the genre we have also discovered that most of items that we have researched are down right funny! And frequently conclude with a happy ending.

If my investigations are correct the Institute of Laughter still harbors a all but forgotten department referred to as Horror Incorporated. I belive this auxiliary branch of the Institute would be a excellent venue to continue the research in this area.

In conclusion I would like to petition the Institute to re-open Horror Incorporated and forge ahead with this important examination.
