NASA Rover Finds Snake-Like Creature On Mars

Alien enthusiasts couldn’t contain their excitement as a mysterious serpent-esque creature was allegedly spotted crawling over rocks on Mars. The bizarre alien form was caught on camera by the Mars Curiosity Rover – with the images subsequently released to the public. Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot the snake after an “anomaly” was seen between two slabs of rocks. In a video uploaded to YouTube by popular conspiracy theory channel SecureTeam10, the creature can be clearly seen. The narrator of the video states: “It does not blend in, this doesn’t look like just some crack in the rocks.

"You can clearly see it, this thing has a shadow – it’s definitely three-dimensional.” Prevalent alien hunter Scott C waring, who runs the blog UFO Sightings Daily, chimed in on the debate, saying: “The snake looks similar to a small garden snake. “About half a metre long. A reptilian life form may have a better chance at surviving such a harsh environment.” Others went for a more spectacular theory, claiming that it is evidence of a past civilisation on the Red Planet. One YouTuber wrote in the comment section of the video: “Going on the theory that Mars may be a destroyed civilization, the "Snake" I think may be some sort of reinforcement bar. “It looks like it may be coming out of the stone, and if you've ever seen any broken concrete, the metal bars inside stick out in a serpentine fashion. So, there's another thought.” However, some were not as convinced and believe that it is a case of the mind playing tricks on one. A commenter said: “This will be shown in psychology class as a classic example of pareidolia.” Pareidolia is where the mind sees familiar patterns and recognises it as a being – such as the countless examples of finding Jesus on toast.
